拼分操作不是ACT官方提供的。

ACT官方在常見問題（FAQ）中回答過：ACT只會(huì)遞交咱們每次考試日的全部成績，包括總分、英文分、閱讀分、數(shù)學(xué)分、科學(xué)分和寫作分?jǐn)?shù)。

拼分，是學(xué)校的操作。

也就是說，如果咱們申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校接受拼分，他們就會(huì)按照一定的規(guī)則來完成拼分算分的動(dòng)作。作為申請(qǐng)者，我們不用提交自己的拼分成績，只要把每一次的考試成績提交給校方就可以了。
那校方會(huì)用什么規(guī)則來拼分算分呢？規(guī)則一共3種。
1、參考最高小分。熱門大學(xué)常用機(jī)制。
2、拼接各科最高分算分。
3、參考最高分。
其中，規(guī)則1有22所學(xué)校使用，規(guī)則2、3幾乎平分了使用拼分規(guī)則的剩下132所學(xué)校。根據(jù)我們的核查，規(guī)則3使用的學(xué)校要稍微多一點(diǎn)。

規(guī)則1：參考最高分
Purdue、MIT、Stanford這些世界高排名大學(xué)一般都使用這種參考制。
以下是麻省理工(MIT）的招生辦寫的拼分規(guī)則原文
If you take the same test (SAT, ACT, or an SAT Subject Test) multiple times, we will consider the highest score achieved in each section（考慮每個(gè)部分的最高分）. This superscoring also applies to students who submit scores from both the "old" and "new" SAT. We do this in order to consider all applicants in their best light.
Students are free to use the College Board's Score Choice option and the ACT's option to submit the scores of your choice（利用ACT官方選項(xiàng)去遞交自己選好的ACT分?jǐn)?shù)） as well.

規(guī)則2：拼接各科最高分算分
以下是top 25美國大學(xué)里唯一采用算分拼分規(guī)則的Washington University的拼分規(guī)則原文：
For the ACT, Washington University considers your highest section scores across all the test dates that you submit（在所有提交的成績里，考慮最高的那個(gè)小分）. Each time you submit scores, we will update your record with any new high scores（每一次你提交分?jǐn)?shù)后，我們會(huì)用你的新高分更新你的記錄）.

規(guī)則3：參考最高分
以下是邁阿密大學(xué)的拼分規(guī)則原文：
The Admission Committee will consider all official test scores from multiple test dates（考慮所有的提報(bào)分?jǐn)?shù)）. They will use the highest composite score from among each test that you’ve taken（使用所有成績中最高的總分）. This is called super scoring. There is no limit to the number of test scores you may submit to us for your application.

搜索欄里搜索“superscore”。superscore是拼分的英文講法。
注意拼分規(guī)則里score的限定詞。composite score是總分，如果拼分規(guī)則采用這個(gè)詞，就是規(guī)則3，所以，一定要電話或者郵件詢問確認(rèn)一下是否可以拼小分。可以拼小分的拼分規(guī)則里會(huì)明確的寫出來subscore、section score這些詞。
